Privacy.
HYBE Health is an independent wellbeing-watch startup in the United Kingdom, founded by Jason Aitcheson. We're not connected to HYBE Corporation, the South Korean entertainment company. This page covers what happens to your details when you join the waitlist. It's short, because we collect very little. We're the "data controller" for that information, which means we're the ones responsible for it.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store three things:
- Your email address (required).
- Your first name, if you add it (optional).
- The date you signed up.
Nothing else goes on the list.
What we don't do
We don't use cookies. We don't track you across other sites. We run no advertising or analytics trackers. We never ask for a password or payment details on this site. We don't sell your data, and we don't hand it to anyone for their own marketing.
Why we have your email
We use it to:
- Confirm you're on the waitlist.
- Send the odd update about the watch: launch news, early-access pricing, and a heads-up before the reveal in Q3 2026.
That's the whole purpose. We email rarely, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
Our legal basis
We send you these emails because you asked us to by signing up, which is your consent. You can take that consent back any time by unsubscribing or emailing us, and we'll stop. Keeping the form free of bots relies on a separate basis, our legitimate interest in protecting the service, which is why you see a quick "are you human" check.
Who else handles your data
A few trusted providers help us run the waitlist. They only process your data on our instructions:
- Supabase stores the waitlist (our database).
- Resend sends the confirmation and update emails.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the bot check (Turnstile) that keeps spam out.
Your browser also loads fonts from Google and a small script from a content network (esm.sh) so the page displays and works. Those services receive your IP address to deliver those files, which is normal for the web, but they don't get your waitlist details.
Where it's stored
We hold your details on EU/UK infrastructure. Where a provider operates outside the UK or EU, we rely on the standard legal safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to keep your data protected.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until the product launches and you've either ordered or opted out, or until you ask us to remove them. After that, we delete your record within 30 days. Unsubscribing takes you off straight away.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can:
- See the data we hold on you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Have it deleted.
- Withdraw your consent.
- Object to, or restrict, how we use it.
- Ask for a copy to take elsewhere.
- Complain to the UK regulator, the ICO, at ico.org.uk.
To use any of these, email jason@aitchesontimepieces.com with "Data request" in the subject. It's free, and we aim to reply within 14 days.
Keeping it safe
The signup form can only add you to the list. It can't read, change, or download anyone's details. The list itself is locked down so only we can see it, from inside our own admin tools.
Changes to this page
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll email everyone on the waitlist.
